Bridgewater College is conducting a multi-year campaign to help fund the growth and revitalization of Nininger Hall, home to the College’s 22 NCAA Division III athletic programs and Health and Human Sciences, its largest academic department.The refurbished building opened in August 2014.
The building transformation includes 15,000 to 16,000 square-feet of additional space as well as a complete renovation of existing structures and spaces. Features of the revitalized space include:
The overall cost for transforming Nininger Hall is $9 million. The benefits of this project are apparent in every facet of life at Bridgewater College. The space not only equips the school and its coaches with a strong recruiting tool but also creates a space in which to teach and train future educators, athletic trainers and others involved in health and human sciences-related studies. It also enables the College to continue to recruit faculty and coaches of the highest caliber to lead these programs and contribute to the future success of BC.
