ENG 101: Effective Writing I
Summer II 2008

ENG101 is the first course in Bridgewater College's two-part writing requirement. This course is based on critical reading across the academic disciplines and designed especially to meet BC's goal to educate the whole person in a technology-rich environment.

Texts:
Krakauer, Jon. Into the Wild.
Kingsolver, Barbara. Animal, Vegetable, Miracle.
Hacker, Diana. Rules for Writers. 6th ed.
Plan on selecting one additional book that you will read and discuss in one of the three major reading-based essays you write for this course.

Meeting Time & Place:
We will meet Monday through Friday 8:00-9:20. Most meetings will be in Bowman 301 or 310.
