3 thoroughly revised critical essays based on reading
1 imaginative or critical text or Web site based on reading and discussion
a research-based argumentative paper of about 10 pages
a log/blog
(2 pages related to reading for the course + 2 pages on any topic; 1 page =
300 words; total for semester = 48 pages): This will be kept throughout the
semester. You may hand-write or type your log entries. If it is most
convenient for you to save your log entries to a folder on the BC network,
you may save them to the folder on the J Drive designated for our class. portfolio cover essay
in-class essays at the beginning and end of the semester reading quizzes as needed
To get full credit for each essay and the research paper, you will need to meet deadlines for drafts and revisions.
