The Manager of Administrative
Information Systems reports to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and
Director of the Information Technology and resides in the C.E. Shull Information
Technology Center. The primary
functions of the Manager of Administrative Information Sytems are as follows:

A native of Bridgewater, Connie
hasn’t wandered far from her home.
After attending Longwood College for three semesters as a Vocal Music
major, she returned to Bridgewater College and received her Bachelors in
Computer Science and Math in 1984. In the fall of 1985, Connie
joined the staff at James Madison University as a computer programmer in
Academic Computing. During her
nearly 18-year tenure at JMU, she held various progressive positions in
Information Technology as Programmer/Analyst, Computer Systems Lead
Engineer. In 1997, Connie completed
her Masters in Business Administration at JMU, and in 1998, also joined the
JMU College of Business as an adjunct Instructor, teaching courses in
“Systems Architecture” and “Intro to Unix and Perl”. She joined the staff at Bridgewater
College in June of 2003. In 1984, Connie married Barry
Minnick, a native of Timberville, VA.
They lived just outside Bridgewater for a year or so, and moved to
Dayton in 1986. In 1989, twins, Brett
and Danielle were born. In April of
2000, the family moved back to Bridgewater, onto the home farm and in the
house where Connie grew up, just south of the bridge on route 42. They are enjoying raising horses there
and helping with the farm. Connie is an active member and
leader at Dayton United Methodist Church, and also is an active 4-H volunteer
with the local 4-H Bit and Bridle club, where Danielle is active in Horse Judging,
Horse projects, and various other things.
Barry is the Scoutmaster of Troop 38 in Bridgewater, and Brett is an
active scout, currently working on the completion of his Eagle Project.
