Assistant Professor in Health and Exercise Science interested in the psychosocial aspects of physical activity.  Teaches sport and exercise psychology, motor behavior, research methods, administration of sport and physical education programs, and sports nutrition.  Areas of research include examining: 1) how situational and dispositional achievement goals may influence athletes' resiliency to failure; 2) how athletes regulate their sport conduct in order to act morally and ethically; and 3) how physical educators promote positive experiences through physical activity.
