The Ed-Tech Cycle

The Ed-Tech Cycle

Including educational technology in a particular class follows a slightly different path than does the process of designing other aspects of a course. Experimentation is very critical as a first step. The instructor needs to imagine and try different facets of technology and then to incorporate those ideas that work into the course.

This is definitely a cyclic process with, hopefully, no stopping point as the opportunities for effective learning continue to expand as the course develops.
