How to Use Threaded Discussions and Real-time Communication

I. Uses for a Bulletin Board System in Education

• Hosting Threaded (Asynchronous) Discussions - allows persons to take as much time as they are willing to commit to initiating and responding to discussion themes and to do so at a time convenient to their schedules
• Posting Announcements for All Participants to Read (and Respond to, as Necessary)
