Teaching Fields: Ecology, evolution, animal behavior, biology of fishes, marine ecology, introductory majors and non-majors biology

Research Interests: communication and reproduction in fishes and how these behaviors may have evolved by female mate choice and by male-male competition for mates; behavior of freshwater fish in polluted and in non-polluted streams

Outside Interests: reading, watching movies and ACC basketball, snorkeling, scuba diving
