Bridgewater College is one of the best colleges and universities in Virginia, according to College Choice. The ranking considers every college and university in Virginia that grants four-year degrees.
College Choice, an independent online publication dedicated to helping students and their families find the right college, selected Bridgewater as one of the top 25 colleges and universities in Virginia, ranking it seventh. Bridgewater also ranked third in private schools, just behind Washington and Lee University and the University of Richmond.

Bridgewater College is a private, four-year liberal arts college located in the Central Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Founded in 1880, it was the state’s first private, coeducational college. Today, Bridgewater College is home to nearly 1,900 undergraduate students.
