The Bridgewater chapter earned the award based on the number of activities it completed from April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2017 Recent initiatives that led to the award include the chapter’s focus on campus and community support projects with mock interviews, and engagement with the Church of the Brethren and the Bridgewater Rotary Club.
“Bridgewater’s SHRM chapter has been an award-winning student chapter since 2011, -receiving the Superior Merit Award for five of the past six years,” said Lou Pugliese, former assistant professor of economics and business administration at Bridgewater who was adviser for the student chapter. “We couldn’t be prouder of the student work that goes into this achievement and our relationship with the Shenandoah Valley SHRM professional chapter that gives our SHRM club outstanding support.”
