Bridgewater’s Baccalaureate service will be held Friday, May 13, 2016 at 6 p.m. under the tent on the Campus Mall.
What is Baccalaureate?
Baccalaureate is a worship service honoring the graduating class. The service will last approximately one hour and includes multiple hymns, musical selections from the choir and the Baccalaureate message. This is also the first opportunity seniors have to wear their caps and gowns. Baccalaureate is open to any guests that would like to attend.
Tickets are not required for the Baccalaureate service on Friday evening.
Dinner will be held following the Baccalaureate service at approximately 7 p.m. in the Main Dining Hall, Kline Campus Center.
All graduates will be covered for dinner as long as they present their college ID at the door. Guests will pay at the door at a rate of $8.50 for adults and $5.50 for children ages 5-12. Dinner tickets will be available for purchase ahead of Baccalaureate. Seniors can purchase dinner tickets for their guests at the Dining Hall the week of Commencement or following Commencement Rehearsal. Parkhurst will also be available prior to the Baccalaureate Service if guests would like to purchase tickets at that time.
