Bridgewater’s Baccalaureate service will be held Friday, May 19, 2017 at 6 p.m. under the tent on the Campus Mall.
What is Baccalaureate?
Baccalaureate is a worship service honoring the graduating class. The service will last approximately one hour and includes multiple hymns, musical selections from the choir and the Baccalaureate message. Baccalaureate is open to any guests that would like to attend.
Tickets are not required for the Baccalaureate service on Friday evening.
Dinner will be held following the Baccalaureate Service, at approximately 7 p.m., in the Main Dining Hall, Kline Campus Center. Cost for the dinner is $8.50 for adults and $5.50 for children ages 5-12. Senior students will be covered as long as they present their ID.
There will be multiple opportunities to pre-purchase tickets for the Baccalaureate dinner in order to avoid lines at the door the night of Baccalaureate. The cashiers at the Main Dining Hall will be selling tickets for the dinner beginning Monday, May 15. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted by the cashier. Seniors can also buy tickets for their guests following Commencement Rehearsal on Thursday, May 18. In addition, Parkhurst will be on the Campus Mall (outside of Rebecca Hall) prior to the Baccalaureate Service on May 19 if guests wish to purchase tickets at that time. Cash or checks will be accepted.
