The Bridgewater College Music Department is proud to announce that the Screamin’ Eagles Marching Band and two Bridgewater choral ensembles have been invited to Rome, Italy, for extraordinary international performance opportunities.

In January 2027, the Screamin’ Eagles Marching Band will represent Bridgewater College in the Rome New Year’s Day Parade, while the choral students will perform in two of Rome’s historic basilicas.

This once-in-a-lifetime experience will give our students—and the alumni and supporters traveling with them—a chance to share their music on a global stage. Beyond their performances, participants will engage in a rich educational and cultural program that includes guided tours of Rome’s renowned museums, landmarks, and architectural treasures.

Trip includes:

• Round trip economy class air travel on a scheduled airline from your U.S.A. gateway shown above to a Rome airport. One main meal and one snack meal will be served along with complimentary soft drinks. Movies and audio entertainment on all long-haul transatlantic sectors. Flights may be multi-sectored.
• Six (6) nights accommodation in a superior first-class hotel in Rome. Students will generally be accommodated in twin- or double-bedded rooms but in some hotels four and three bedded rooms will be used. Adults are guaranteed to be accommodated in twin or double-bedded rooms, but MUST pay pay a surcharge for a room for single occupancy.
• Full Italian buffet breakfast with a wide range of hot and cold items served each day – 6 breakfasts

• A three-course dinner (primi, secondi, & dolci), including soft drinks/sodas to be served in your hotel on your day of arrival, and on the day of the Parade – January 1^st – 2 dinners.

• One special New Year’s Eve Buffet dinner in your hotel followed by a private and exclusive disco party at the hotel for all Rome New Year’s Day Parade and Festival participants. – 1 special dinner. Soft drink/sodas included with dinner and throughout the evening party.

• Round trip transfers from Rome airport to the hotel by luxury coach.
• Half day educational tours to sites including The Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Vatican City (including a visit to St. Peter’s Basilica), one of the famous Catacombs located outside of Romen’s ancient City Walls and a day tour to Florence, the Tuscan Capital, via the Freccia Rossa train.
