2022 Eagles Golf Classic

Kick off Homecoming weekend on the green with us for the first Eagles Golf Classic on Friday, October 15, 2021! This fundraiser is a four-player captain’s choice format with teams flighted by results. There will be two sessions (shotgun starts at 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.) with three flights in each session. Deadline to register: October 11 at NOON.

Nike prize money (redeemable for gear sponsored by Nike/BSN) will be awarded to the top three teams in each flight. Registration is $500 for a foursome ($125 per individual). If you sign up on behalf of our team, a portion of your entry fee will go directly to that program.

Registration includes entry fees, support for your program of choice, putting challenge (sponsored by Atlantic Union Bank), hole-in-one challenge to win a car (sponsored by Dick Myers), BBQ lunch, gift bag, raffle ticket, and free drinks during the round (sponsored by Pepsi and Coors). There will also be a silent auction tent. Auction items include a Traeger Pro 780 pellet grill valued at over $1000 (sponsored by Rockingham Cooperative), Grizzly coolers (sponsored by Pepsi) and additional items (sponsored by Massanutten Resort), as well as others. A full list of our sponsors will be provided the day of our tournament.

We will also hold the inaugural Eagle Cup golf tournament on Saturday, October 16  for golfers who would enjoy a stroke-play event and a chance to compete for the individual title. There will be two to three flights (based on participation) with Nike/BSN prize money awarded to the top two golfers in each flight. Registration is $100, with a portion going to the BC sports program of your choice. All participants will receive gift bags and be entered into a drawing for prizes. The tournament will finish in time to join alumni, family and friends for tailgating on Mapp Field prior to the Homecoming football game (2 p.m. versus The Apprentice School). The Eagle Cup winner will be announced at halftime of the football game.
