What brought you to Bridgewater College?
I knew I wanted to go to a liberal arts college, but when I visited BC I knew this would be my home for the next four years. The community was friendly, welcoming, and supportive which made the transition from high school to college really easy for me. On top of the environment, the professor interactions, the opportunities on campus, and the financial aid package really helped—I never doubted my decision to come to Bridgewater.
What advice do you have about the college search process?
Visit as many schools as possible! Public and private, large and small, urban and rural—and write down what you like and didn’t like about all of them. Also, try to talk to students while you’re visiting and ask questions because they will give you great answers. Using all this information really helps narrow down your choices when it comes time to decide on a school.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
I love that I get to meet and interact with prospective students and their families! Going to college is a huge milestone in your life, so getting to help people navigate that process as well as showing them the resources and opportunities that Bridgewater provides is just awesome.
