Director and producer of documentary films Lynn Novick will present an endowed lecture at Bridgewater College on Thursday, Oct. 13, at 7:30 p.m. in Cole Hall.

One of the most respected documentary filmmakers and storytellers in America, Novick will talk about the three-part PBS documentary The U.S. and the Holocaust, which she co-directed with Ken Burns and Sarah Botstein. The film examines the rise of Hitler and Nazism in Germany in the context of global anti-Semitism and racism, the eugenics movement in the U.S. and race laws in the American South.

The endowed lecture is sponsored by the Anna B. Mow Symposium. The event is free and open to the public. A livestream of the event will be available at bridgewater.edu/novick.
