Bridgewater College Special Collections will exhibit “Hobbies at Homecoming,” a showcase of Bridgewater College hobbies past and present, from Oct. 22, 2022, through April 3, 2023. The exhibition will be on display in the Robert R. Newlen ’75 and John C. Bradford Special Collections located on the lower level of the John Kenny Forrer Learning Commons on the College’s campus.
The exhibition is curated by Stephanie S. Gardner, Special Collections Librarian, and Sherie Davis ‘23. The exhibition features archival materials and artifacts reflective of the passions of past Bridgewater College community members. From librarian Agnes Kline’s romantic Hollywood photo stills to biologist and coach Doc Jopson’s birding club notebook, these primary sources give us glimpses of the varied and vibrant interests of historic Bridgewater College.
The exhibition is free and open to the public.
