Theatre at Bridgewater College Presents Woyzeck

Woyzeck
By Georg Büchner
Translated by Gregory Motton

Hailed as one of the first modern works of dramatic literature, and written when Georg Büchner was only 23 years old and never finished, Woyzeck is a powerful drama about an individual trapped in a world of oppression and inequality.  Driven mad by unfeeling military discipline, callous medical experiments, and his own jealousies Woyzeck is a fractured, splintered play that is as resonant today as when it was written over 180 years ago.
