Local Photographer to Exhibit “Whole Bunch” at Bridgewater College

Jess Daddio art

The Beverly Perdue Art Gallery at Bridgewater College will host an exhibition of photographs by Rockingham County photographer and filmmaker Jess Daddio from Nov. 9 through Dec. 14, 2026. “Whole Bunch” is a series of black and white medium-format photographs that explore the theme of love in a variety of forms.

There will be an artist’s talk and reception on Nov. 9 from 5-7 p.m. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

Daddio said her photographs, captured earlier this year, explore the unspoken ways that people love each other, love a place and love themselves. She explained that the title of the exhibition was inspired by a family catchphrase: “When my brother and I were growing up, my father would say, ‘I love you a whole bunch,’ emphasis on the whole. Over the years, ‘whole bunch’ became our family’s way to say ‘I love you.’”

Originally from Clarke County, Daddio now lives in Rockingham County. Her work seeks to examine how the places and people that bind us define us. She is currently pursuing a master of fine arts in photography at the University of Hartford.

The Beverly Perdue Art Gallery is located in the Forrer Learning Commons (FLC) at BC. A map of campus is available at bridgewater.edu/map. The exhibit is open during the following hours when the FLC is open: libcal.bridgewater.edu/hours.
