Bridgewater College Symphonic Band to Perform on Nov. 7

Bridgewater College’s Symphonic Band, under the direction of Dr. Christine Carrillo, will perform at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 7, in Cole Hall on the College’s campus.

The concert will open with First Suite in E-flat by Gustav Holst. Inchon by Robert W. Smith will follow. Kalia Page, a senior music major from Stanardsville, Va., will serve as the student conductor for that song.

The band will also perform Chasing Sunlight by Cait Nishimura, Echoes of the Hollow Square by Johnnie Vinson and Lightning Field by John Mackey.

The performance is free and open to the public. In keeping with guidance from the CDC, Bridgewater College requires that all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, properly wear face masks when indoors in public areas of campus.
