Do you hear that? The sound of music is alive at Bridgewater College. Whether you sing, play an instrument or want to explore the history and theory of music, it’s all here.
The department of music is small and personal. You’ll have easy access to private practice rooms and rehearsal spaces. Your professors are always available for personal instruction and guidance. You’ll get to know students across campus through the various music ensembles. Concert choir, chorale, jazz ensemble, symphonic band and so much more.

Homecoming Concert
- Music
Bridgewater College’s Chorale, Treble Choir, Jazz Ensemble and Alumni Jazz Band will perform on Saturday, Oct. 24, in the Concert Hall at the Carter Center for Worship and Music.
The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public, and the BC community is encouraged to attend as part of Homecoming weekend.. -

Symphonic Band Concert

BC’s Symphonic Band is a large ensemble that programs a diversity of musical styles and historical periods. Typical repertoire includes standards of the wind band repertoire, transcriptions and pieces highlighting the best contemporary band composers.
This event is free and open to the public. -
Jazz Bands Concert

Concert programs include traditional big band swing, progressive jazz and contemporary arrangements of pop music.
The concert is free and open to the public.

The Oratorio Choir is comprised of BC choral students, faculty members, staff, community members and alumni.

Holiday Extravaganza

One of the most popular musical performances of the year, the Holiday Extravaganza features the Chorale, Concert Choir, Jazz Ensemble, Symphonic Band and audience sing-alongs.
